Somewhere to talk, built for the way your community actually talks.
Rooms that record themselves, and become something afterwards
Open a room and talk. Listeners can raise a hand and join you on stage. When it ends, the recording is already an episode.
Ask the question you were too shy to ask at the mosque. Somebody here has already answered it once.
Study groups, committee meetings, a lesson, or a call with your mother. One to one, or a whole room.
By culture, by city, or by the thing you happen to love
Connect with people from your culture — share traditions, language, and the experience of building a new life.
Find community members in your city or neighborhood. Discover local events and resources together.
From cooking to coding — join groups based on your interests and hobbies, across all cultures.
Safety that does not depend on you speaking English
Moderation on Budi works in eight languages, because a report filed in Pashto that only an English reader can act on is not moderation. Every action arrives with the reason, what to do about it, and a route to appeal. The rules are written for these communities rather than translated at them, and right-to-left conversation is a first-class case rather than a rendering bug. You can take part in the language you think in.
